Robotics4EU: Driving Responsible Robotics in the European Union
The Robotics4EU project aims to promote the development of responsible robotics in the European Union, aligned with social values and focused on improving quality of life. Its goal is to foster the acceptance of robots by ensuring they are safe, accessible, sustainable, and beneficial for society.
To achieve this, a report has been developed proposing a strategy based on four pillars: creating a coherent regulatory framework, strengthening the robotics community, promoting collaboration among different stakeholders, and preparing the workforce for the future.
Ultimately, the project advocates for the growth of robotics within an ethical framework, offering practical recommendations aimed at governments, companies, and the academic sector.
